Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are a vital part of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. The Terre Haute Children’s Museum is committed to sharing its values with those who want to help ensure our mission “To enrich our children's lives through the exploration of science and technology.” As one of 350 mind-opening science museums in the country, we want to inspire, impact and influence our children to think outside the classroom. An abundance of volunteer opportunities are at your fingertips. If you enjoy working with youth, being creative, and helping our children have fun while learning, then we welcome you to take a look around and explore the vast opportunities volunteering can bring you at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. All volunteers must submit an application by mail or in person that will be reviewed by the Volunteer Program Coordinator. Museum staff will follow up with a phone call once the application has been reviewed and processed. Before beginning service at the museum, all volunteers are required to complete an orientation, training, and criminal background check.
