- The new Museum will have more than 10,000 square feet of exhibits.
- The new Museum will feature:
- Four experiential learning galleries including:
- Toddlers' gallery
- One changing gallery
- Two immersive permanent galleries
- Three exploration labs
- Discovery retail store packed with hands-on educational toys, books and games
- A family center with food service, rest stops and resources
- An outdoor amphitheater
- One traveling exhibition space
