The new Terre Haute Children's Museum will open as 35,000 square feet of pure exploration. Experiential learning will take place in immersive museum galleries. Visitors will be transported for a brief period of time into a space station, a dinosaur archeological dig site, a tree house high in the canopy, and even an earth station. The Children's Museum's focus on math, science and technology will support the quality classroom experiences. At the Museum, complex science and math concepts become full physical interactive experiences designed to capture our children's imagination and ignite their senses to draw connections about their world.
